The amenities in the guest room are regarded as necessities for visitors. The following standard supplies are placed in the guest room by the housekeeping crew.
1. Furniture − It has a bed, nightstands, chairs, a closet with storage, a writing desk, a vanity, a center table, and a magazine rack.
2. Bedding − Should include mattress, bed sheet, bed cover, quilt, quilt cover, pillows, and pillow cases.
3. Bedside Supplies − They include non-slip mats, an alarm clock and notepad on the either sides of the bed.
4. Bedside Table Supplies − They include a telephone device and a printed list of crucial intercom numbers, including those for the hotel’s restaurant, laundry, and reception. A copy of the Bible, Geeta, or Koran is also provided by the cleaning staff, depending on whether they are aware of the visitor’s religious preferences beforehand.
5. Center Table Supplies −It includes rate cards for the spa and health club as well as room service, laundry service, etc. Additionally, it has a small decorative center piece and an ashtray.
6. Clothing and Clothing Care − It includes a bathrobe, a coffee table cover, and hangers for shirts and ties.
7. Hospitality Tray − It is a tiny tray with sections for sachets of sugar, creamer, coffee, tea, and cocoa powder. Some hotels also provide condiment sachets, such as salt and black and white pepper powder. Additionally, they keep an electric kettle, a few cups, saucers, spoons, and water bottles so that each visitor can make his own beverage once per day.
8. Mini Bar Supplies − There is also a tiny personal refrigerator with some soda, alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, and ice cubes. It also includes a few small portions of chips, cashew nuts, or salted peanuts.
9. Writing Desk Supplies −A composition pad, a pencil, an eraser, promotional materials, the La Carte menu, and a list of the city’s key landmarks, both historically and commercially, are provided for the guests’ use.
